Experience nature from the very start
At the Lower Austria Eisenwurzen Nature Park, learning and experiencing nature are given special priority – even for the youngest children.
The Hollenstein Nature Park Kindergarten and the Nature Park Day Care Centre (TBE) enable children to discover nature through play and experience it with all their senses.
Through exploring the surroundings together, taking part in projects and attending nature park days, the children learn about plants, animals and habitats. Regular sessions with nature guides deepen this knowledge and bring nature to life in an exciting and child-friendly way.
Close cooperation between the nature park, childcare facilities and the local council ensures that the nature park’s philosophy is put into practice all year round. In this way, nature becomes a space for learning and discovery – and an important part of the children’s everyday lives.
