Holly School Bees

Nature trails provide information about their role in nature and the environment, whilst
regional honey products combine nature conservation with local economic development.

Bees as nature’s ambassadors

Bees in the Nature Park The “Holly School Bees” project highlights bees as key players in the nature park. A bee nature trail at the LFS Hohenlehen provides a vivid insight into the lifestyle, pollination and ecological importance of bees. A further nature trail is in the planning stage and will also be implemented in the village in future. In addition, the park’s own honey production yields a regional product: honey and the refined honey gin, which combines the nature park, craftsmanship and regional value creation. “Holly School Bees” brings together environmental education, nature conservation and regional product development – in a way that is visible, tangible and sustainable.
