Beautiful route tour over the Königsberg from Hollenstein to Göstling. Great panorama on the ridge between Kitzhütte and Siebenhütte, including refreshment stops.

From the village, you walk past the Königsberg valley station and through the herb garden on a beautiful, sometimes steep path through the forest to the Kitzhütte. A little further uphill and you then hike along the ridge to the Siebenhütte. From there, a forest and later asphalt road leads down to Göstling.

Getting there Coming from Vienna, take the A1 to the Amstetten West exit, via B121 to Waidhofen an der Ybbs, from there continue on B31 to Hollenstein an der Ybbs. Coming from the west, take the A1 to the Oed exit, via Aschbach Markt on B121, via B121 to Waidhofen an der Ybbs, from there continue on B31 to Hollenstein an der Ybbs.
Public transport VOR bus line to Hollenstein/Ybbs or from Göstling/Ybbs
Editor’s tip Before returning (by bus) it is worth visiting the Göstling saltwater spa.
