Easily accessible hiking trail out of the village and back again

From the municipal parking lot, the trail leads across the village square past the Kalvarienberg to the Sagmeistersiedlung trailhead. The trail runs parallel to the Hammerbach stream to Haus Gseng and leads back to the starting point via Treffenguthammer and Kalvarienberg.

Getting there From Vienna, take the A1 to the Amstetten West exit, then via B121 to Waidhofen an der Ybbs, from there continue on B31 to Hollenstein an der Ybbs. From the west, take the A1 to the Oed exit, via Aschbach Markt on B121, via B121 to Waidhofen an der Ybbs, from there continue on B31 to Hollenstein an der Ybbs.
