Beautiful route over the Königsberg from Hollenstein to Göstling. Great panorama on the ridge between Kitzhütte and Siebenhütte, including places to stop for refreshments.
Description
From the village, go past the Königsberg bike park and through the herb garden, nicely, partly steep, through the forest to the Kitzhütte. A little further uphill and then hike along the ridge to the Siebenhütte. From there a forest and later asphalt road leads down to Göstling.

Coming from Vienna, take the A1 to the Amstetten West exit, via B121 to Waidhofen an der Ybbs, from there continue on B31 to Hollenstein an der Ybbs.
Coming from the west, take the A1 to the Oed exit, via Aschbach Markt on B121, via B121 to Waidhofen an der Ybbs, from there continue on B31 to Hollenstein an der Ybbs.

Author's tip
Before returning (by bus) it is worth visiting the Göstling saltwater spa.
