The centerpiece of the show garden in Unterleiten is the so-called wedding tree, a natural monument consisting of two - 200 to 300 year old - beech trees that form a common crown. A herb spiral, beneficial insect hotels and a willow tunnel, in addition to the numerous resting and resting places, offer plenty of ideas for designing your own garden. A special highlight is the dry stone wall roundel, which is also ideal for barbecues. Farmer's garden, swimming pond, tree terrace and art in the garden are further idea donors and rest areas for the visitors.

Thus, the show garden of the technical school is both a recreation and communication space for students and guests as well as a classroom for nature-based learning. Many perennials, grasses, woody plants as well as flowers of all kinds facilitate the lessons by a direct acquaintance with plant species. The entire garden area of about 1000 m² is managed biologically. Thus the compost serves as fertilizer and is naturally "produced" by the gardeners themselves.

The ambience of the technical school also invites to celebrations in house and garden such as company parties, weddings, etc., also vacation apartments can be rented for a relaxing vacation in the Ybbstal.
